BBB EU Privacy Shield handles complaints alleging that a Participating Business has failed to comply with one or more of the Privacy Shield Privacy Principles in relation to the personal data of an EU or Swiss data subjects processed in the US. BBB EU Privacy Shield, an alternative dispute resolution provider is administered by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. (CBBB). The CBBB is a U.S. organization, and our handling of your complaint will require the processing of your personal data within the United States.
By completing and submitting the complaint form on the following pages you will authorize CBBB staff to process your personal data provided by you or by the Participating Business about which you are complaining in accordance with the program Rules. You will also authorize CBBB to share that personal data with the Participating Business about which you are complaining, with CBBB's Data Privacy Panelists as described in the program Rules, and with technical experts, interpreters and translators as needed, for purposes of resolving the complaint. CBBB will handle your personal data in accordance with the CBBB Privacy Policy.
